What this site collects, why, and how to have it removed.
Who is responsible

What is collected
When you send an enquiry. The name, email address and message you type into the contact form, so that the enquiry can be answered.
When you place an order. Your name, billing and delivery address, email address and telephone number. This is needed to take payment, to book a shipment and to meet bookkeeping obligations.
Automatically. The web server records the usual technical information about a request, including IP address and browser, and keeps it for a short period for security and diagnostics. The site sets a cookie remembering whether you prefer to see prices in francs or euros, and WooCommerce sets cookies that keep the contents of your basket between pages.
Who it is shared with
Payment details are handled by the payment provider chosen at checkout and are not stored on this site. Delivery details are passed to the carrier handling the shipment, and, for shipments leaving Switzerland, to the customs authorities of the destination country as part of the export paperwork.
Data is not sold, and is not shared with anyone else except where the law requires it.
How long it is kept
Order records are kept for ten years, which is the retention period Swiss commercial law requires for accounting records. Contact form enquiries are kept for as long as the correspondence is useful and then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing info@argenitafetahu.com. Where a request concerns an order, records that Swiss law requires to be retained cannot be deleted until that period has passed. Visitors in the European Union additionally have the rights given by the GDPR, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
